Pioneering Pipe Production with Zym-Tec™ Technology

In 2010, Zym-Tec™ technology was successfully implemented in Ethiopia to revolutionize the production of concrete pipes. By utilizing local black cotton soil and reducing cement consumption by up to 80%, this project showcased the potential of Zym-Tec™ to deliver cost-effective, sustainable solutions for infrastructure development.

Transforming Pipe Production with Zym-Tec™

The process involved mixing and preparing concrete using Zym-Tec™ enzymes combined with local soil. The prepared mix was molded into 1-meter diameter, 1-meter height water pipes. This innovative approach eliminated the need for special soil and drastically reduced cement usage, saving resources and costs.
